Sajith M P
VP – Professional Services
Some transitions in life are planned; others are deeply felt.
After 25+ years of navigating the expansive world of IT services with Cognizant—across continents seeing the world through the lens of technology & working with diverse clients, tackling complex client challenges, delivering critical large-scale transformation programs, building high-performing teams & lasting relationships in boardrooms, and delivering solutions across domains,- I found myself at a quiet crossroads. Professionally & Personally I did achieve a handful, but somewhere deep inside , aren’t there a few questions unanswered?
What am I building?, What will I leave behind?
Could my work do more than move metrics—could it move lives?
It was a mid-career inflection point. The kind that whispers more than shouts. The kind that requires you to listen deeply—not to the noise outside, but to the rhythm within.
And for someone like me, listening is more than a metaphor. It’s a way of life. That was the beginning of my transition—from a large-scale, structured ecosystem to a fast-growing digital health company with a deeply human mission.
Why blueBriX, and Why Now
My move from Cognizant to blueBriX wasn’t just a change of employer—it was a change in perspective. When the opportunity at blueBriX came, it didn’t feel like just another career move. It felt like alignment. Like finally getting to play the raga you’d long practiced in private.
Healthcare, unlike many other industries, is universal. It touches every human life, across the globe. At blueBriX, I saw the opportunity to contribute to a space where technology can make such a visible, tangible difference, supporting real people – patients, providers and caregivers-—was simply too compelling to ignore.
At blueBriX, we’re not just building software, we’re building the future of care delivery, empowering providers, and improving outcomes for patients. That mission resonated deeply with me. Today, I’m not just executing projects—I’m helping shape a company’s future. I’m immersed in the exhilarating chaos of product development, where every feature we design could one day improve someone’s health or change the way a provider delivers care. The sense of ownership is real. The opportunities to contribute are everywhere—from strategy to architecture to user feedback loops.
I strongly felt being part of something that’s building forward, with empathy and ambition.
From Execution to Ownership
In services, you’re trained to deliver to someone else’s specs – Often at speed and scale. But in the product world, especially in a high-growth environment like blueBriX, you’re not just delivering—you’re defining, You’re part of discovering the need, designing the solution, and continuously refining it based on real-world impact.
Here at blueBriX, I’m challenged daily to think differently—to wear multiple hats, move fast, and contribute beyond my past comfort zones. Whether it’s product thinking, user experience, platform architecture, or even helping shape internal culture, there are opportunities to contribute everywhere.
And what’s most fulfilling? Seeing your ideas turn into features, and those features create real outcomes—for healthcare professionals, administrators, and ultimately patients. You see your fingerprints on the product. You see your work reflected in the company’s growth.
Yes, it’s a different rhythm. There are no silos to hide in. The pace is high, and the ambiguity is real. But so is the energy and the ownership.
Is it Challenging? Of Course Yes!, But Feeling Worth & Proud Every Step.
This transition hasn’t been without its challenges. Moving from a well-structured, large organization to a high-velocity startup-like environment requires mindset agility. But it’s also been a phase of rapid learning, personal growth, and renewed energy.
This isn’t just a career transition—it’s a realignment with purpose. It’s about shifting from services to significance. At blueBriX, we’re building more than just platforms—we’re building healthcare ecosystems that can shape the future. Everyday I feel closer to the product, the users, the outcomes—and most importantly, to the mission.
Leadership, Culture, and Continuity
One of the things I’ve always valued—whether in music, mentoring, or management—is harmony. In a high-velocity product environment, maintaining composure, clarity, and openness becomes even more important.
At blueBriX, I’ve found a culture where ideas are welcomed, not weighted by title. Where feedback loops are fast, but thoughtful. And where collaboration is not a buzzword—it’s how we function. What I cherish most is the openness at blueBriX—the kind that values ideas over hierarchies.
Leadership here isn’t about command. It’s about context, compassion, and staying grounded—especially when the pace gets intense. We often say that at blueBriX, we’re building products. But what we’re really building is trust—among our teams, with our partners, and ultimately in the healthcare system itself.
Looking Back—and Forward
As I reflect, this move has been less about changing jobs and more about finding resonance. From delivering for clients to delivering for lives. From scale to significance. From process to purpose.
Sometimes I feel , the music in me, taught me to listen deeply, stay composed under pressure, and always strive for harmony—maybe it was quietly preparing me for this transition all along.
If you’re at a similar crossroad—questioning, reflecting, wondering if there’s more to your work than deadlines and dashboards—trust that inner nudge. Sometimes the most rewarding moves aren’t upward, but across to a path where you feel connected, challenged, and energized.Don’t be afraid to choose the path that challenges you—and connects you to something greater than yourself. At blueBriX, I found that purpose and I’m excited seeing how my second innings shaping up.
